Julie Benz was thrust into the world of sci-fi years ago. And it just keeps pulling her back in. GOOD.
The plot of “Defiance” goes like this: Aliens and humans are now living and working together in a post apocalyptic world. Misunderstanding and drama ensue.
Doesn’t sound like the best show ever crafted, but it DOES have “Farscape” creator Rockne S. O’Bannon attached.

Conducted on March 10th, 2011 in Austin, Texas, Joss Whedon spoke about being Joss Whedon to the fans and Entertainment Weekly. ( I love that magazine) Anywho, the range of conversation with Joss goes from “The Cabin in the Woods” to “The Avengers” to how he writes. And how “Firefly” probably won’t ever be brought back to life. Grrrr Argghhh.
“Buffy” Premiered 15 Years Ago Today on The WB

Fifteen years ago I was a little too young to be watching “Buffy”. I didnt even watch the Buffster kick demon ass until it aired on UPN. (Remember that network? Neither do I) But boy did I make up for lost time. Reruns airing on FX were the highlight of my nights after middle school.

Danny Strong has been quite the political drama writer. Serious kudos to him. He seems to find such interesting stories and voices in such a dreary topic (I learn what I need to about candidates before I vote and that’s as political as I get).

Get ready for the bag of crazy that is Drusilla. The woman herself, Juliet Landau, is bringing Drusilla back in a five issue miniseries of comics to compliment the Buffy and Angel & Faith literature.
*Linkage* Call Her Sarah Michelle Gellar, Not Buffy
It’s almost like that one person you know that won’t shut up about that time you fell down the steps or did some other slightly embarrassing act that was funny at the time, but not so much anymore. And I’m not saying Buffy was at all embarrassing for Sarah Michelle Gellar. (If there was no Buffy, we’d be saying Sarah Michelle who?) But being called “Buffy” for almost two decades now has to get old.
Glad she has cool a outlook on her past.
Just maybe don’t refer to her solely as Buffy if you meet her.

*Linkage* Mark Feuerstein Cast "In Your Eyes"
As a fan of Mark Feuerstein (Holla USA Network and Royal Pains!) I was very pleased that he won a role in the Joss Whedon sci-fi love story In Your Eyes. Filming begins next week in New Hampshire.
